Jesse Goldstein

Mr. Goldstein has practiced in numerous areas of immigration law since 2004.  He has represented organizations of various sizes from a wide range of industries, and is highly skilled in developing and presenting immigration-based solutions to practical, real-world issues, including analyzing the interrelationships between immigration and employment law, as well as the tensions between the theoretical and highly technical requirements of U.S. immigration law and real-world business requirements.  

Mr. Goldstein’s experience in business immigration involves entities operating in various industries, as well as managerial/executive-level and highly skilled and technical employees from a range of endeavors, including engineers, IT professionals, financial and accounting experts, logistics and supply chain professionals, and scientists.  The organizations that he has represented hail from a wide range of industries, including automotive suppliers, logistics and transportation, materials management, IT, global manufacturing, chemicals and petrochemicals, and agriculture.  Mr. Goldstein assists such entities in obtaining and retaining the services of key executives, managers, extraordinary ability workers, highly skilled technical professionals, as well as international visitors and short-term assistance as required.  He liaises directly with corporate Human Resources professionals and high-level managers and executives regarding their immigration-related needs and strategies, as well as with individual employees and potential employees as well.  He is highly experienced regarding all aspects of the employment-based Green Card process, including PERM labor certification applications, EB-1 Multinational Managers, National Interest Waivers, I-140 Immigrant Petitions, and Adjustment of Status applications, also including commuting employees from Canada.

Mr. Goldstein assists individuals with family-based immigration needs as well, including marriage-based Green Card applications, family preference categories, dependent family issues, the Child Status Protection Act, and waivers of grounds of inadmissibility.  

Mr. Goldstein represents clients with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Department of Labor, and at various U.S. embassies and consulates abroad.  He is highly experienced in ensuring that all submissions submitted to these entities are in full accordance with each entity’s particular requirements, standards, and expectations.  He is a member of both the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Michigan Bar.
